I think I can officially call this summer a success. Definitely going down as one the best.

This is what I was able to scratch off the list:

  • Road trip to New York
  • Picnics
  • Fly a kite
  • Weekend adventure at The Dells
  • Attend at least one concert.
  • Farmers Market
  • St. Charles flea market
  • Beach/Dunes
  • Eat alfresco in my beautiful city.
  • Taste of Chicago
  • Ride my bike everywhere
  • Create more things with my hands (planting, sewing, painting, etc.)
  • Attend more fashion events and network. (Still working on it)
  • Visit the zoo
  • Go on a boat ride.
  • Hold a garage sale
  • Hopefully find a new home
  • Attend a white sox game

Hopefully summer will stay around for just a little bit longer so I can finish my list.

Introducing our new home!!!!!!!! Finally, after month’s of looking and a rollercoster of emotions we have found our new home. It’s the gorgeous top duplex with alll the requirements we needed. I can’t wait to start painting and decorating. We have so many great ideas. I feel great. This will be our new home in which we will create new adventures and memories.

So here's the deal...

We found the home of our dreams. It’s spacious and gorgeous. The only problem is that we won’t know till Saturday if we got it or not. The anxiety is killing me. I have knot in my stomach and I couldn’t sleep all night. I have been picturing wonderful decorating ideas and dreaming of eating breakfast on the deck. Me and Dave have all our fingers and toes crossed and holding our breath wishing for the best.

Please universe give us a sign.
